Naval Air Station Fallon

RGS Energy partnered with security systems expert Northrop Grumman to bring solar power to a naval air station in central Nevada. Due to the base’s remote location, off-grid power was the ideal solution, and Nevada’s harsh solar radiation lent itself nicely to a solar panel array.
The 50 kW off-grid installation is made up of 216 ground-mounted solar panels. It was completed in 2011.
